Yesterday Castel San Pietro Terme owes its fame in the thermal field to the quality of its muds and to its sulphurous, ferruginous and salsobromojodic mineral waters, known since the Middle Ages. The oldest source is probably the one called "Fegatella", discovered in 1337, during a very serious epizootic of cattle, to many of which he brought healing. In 1835, the Company "Terme", and began, with modern criteria, the use of water, first as a drink, then for bathrooms. In 1869 under the Kingdom of Italy the new thermal establishment was opened, which it will be completed in 1891, fully equipped for all the treatments then in use. Entirely destroyed as a result of the war, it was rebuilt and expanded in later stages thanks also to it to the discovery and exploitation of new thermal springs and wells. Today For the Terme di Castel San Pietro, health and well-being have always been in first place of people and it is precisely this goal that is driving the renovation of these last 3 years. Under the leadership of the new owner, the Baths have in fact started an intense one restructuring activities, which saw the transformation of the entire area dedicated to inhalation treatments e rhinogenic deafness, the sector of swimming pools and vascular paths and starting from April 2020 also medical acceptance and the outpatient clinic. The aim of these works is not only that of renewal from the point of view of design and welcoming customers, who in any case improve their perception of well-being, but above all to transform a place that remains dedicated to health care into a beautiful environment, efficient and pleasant. These important investments, which will continue until the complete renovation of the Center Thermal, confirm the orientation of the Terme di Castel San Pietro towards a horizon where the therapeutic approach - made with natural medicine such as our thermal waters - is careful and effective.
