 2025 Chongqing Beibei Cultural Tourism Development Conference Focused on the planning of Beibei Culture and Tourism Development for the next 3 years
The 2025 Chongqing Beibei Cultural Tourism Development Conference was held at Haiyu Hot Springs Hotel on April 29, 2025.
The FEMTEC President, Olga Surdu presented a greetings video speech at the opening ceremony. Ms. Catherine Lan represented the FEMTEC Office in China, in person. The Conference focuses on the planning of Beibei Culture and Tourism Development for the next 3 years, promoting investment, collaboration for the industry.
FEMTEC has actively promoted health and cooperation at global scale, being a leading international authority, in official relations and acknowledged by World Health Organisation as Non State Actor, in Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine Unit.
FEMTEC has played a key role in strengthening strategic collaboration, aligning public health goals, and integrating national health initiatives with those of the World Health Organization (WHO).

Around 260 participants have been invited to participate at the Conference including the representatives from the related enterprises, banking organizations, associations, and the representatives from the other provinces and cities, such as Fujian, Sichuan, Tibet, Guangxi, Chongqing, etc.
Hot springs, as a key engine of economic development, social wellbeing, and component of the modern medical services has emerged as a central driving force behind the transformation and upgrading of the wellness and medical tourism sector.
The conference opened new opportunities for collaboration and showed the new vision of the future of medical tourism by higher valorisation of natural therapeutic factors.
