Hot springs owners, operators, senior managers and researchers from across the globe discuss a range of industry issues and opportunities to collaborate and grow together, while immersed in ancient Chinese Hot Springs and Japanese Onsen culture.

The G3T is an annual conference activity of the Global Wellness Institutes Hot Springs Initiative, a global network of hot springs owners, operators, academics and industry participants dedicated to exploring the diverse potential of geothermal waters to contribute to the health and wellbeing of visitors as well as the economies and societies in which they are located. It is with great sorrow that we inform that CNETh and ESPA President Thierry DUBOIS's spouse, BRIGITTE DUBOIS, passed away on Friday 12th April, after the reactivation and evolution of a long-term illness.

Mrs Brigitte Dubois was, as spouse of the President Dubois, an active participant to the all initiatives promoted by FEMTEC. All the Board of Directors and the Great Family of FEMTEC remember her as "aimable, intelligent dame". We express heartfell sympaty to Thierry and his family.

A new Member of the FEMTEC's Commission of Tourism &Health

László Puczkó, PhD, Director of Industry Intelligence Resources for Leisure Assets,Company located in Vienna (Austria) is a new Member of the Femtec's Commission of Tourism and Health. Over the past 20 years, Laszlo has honed his expertise in product development, experience mapping and design, impact assessment and marketing.

He was a manager at KPMG, the global advisory firm's Travel, Leisure and Tourism Group (Europe & Middle East) and served as an advisor on over 100 projects both at destination and property level.

Thermalism - Potentiality and benefits for human health in the European context

In the first half of 2019, the presidency of the Council of the European Union belongs to Romania and the Joint Research Center (JRC) of Ispra, organizes activities to promote the traditional and historical-cultural values of Romania.

In this context, the conference "DISCOVER ROMANIA: Thermalism - Potentiality and benefits for human health in the European context" was held in Ispra on April 11th 2019 with the support of the Romanian Balneology Association.

Great succes of the Joint Course "Medical University of Monastir (Tunisia) and FEMTEC"


More than 25 medical doctors of different Tunisian medical and thalassotherapic centers attended to the Joint Course on Thalassotherapy, promoted and organized by the Medical Faculty of the University of Monastir, in collaboration with FEMTEC and with the support of the Departement of Thermalisme of the Health Ministry of Tunisia.

Longevity & Vitality Medical Science: a new FEMTEC Commission

Main Coordinator, Francesco Marotta, M.D. Ph.D. (Japan, Dubai, Azeirbajan).

The undoubtedly growing trend of science along this line suggests us to create this new Commission. As we know, from in vitro, to in vivo and some initial pilot clinical work, there is a surge of papers on a daily basis on major indexing database. Not to mention the explosion of gut microbiota and its wide, and still only partly unfolded, effects on each and every body compartment, i.e. organs and functions.

Cooperation Agreement

Global Capital Hot Springs, 17 July 2018

A Forum on Economic and trade Cooperation took place in Zurich the 17 July 2018.

The Forum was a very important event, hosted by the Canton of Zurich and with the partecipation of High Officials from the Regional Swiss and Chinese Government (Markus Assfalg, Director for Economy of the Canton Zurich and Tang Liang Zhi, Major of the Chongqing Municipal People's Governement and others distingued guests).

In this occasion many key projects of cooperation have been signed: among them, the cooperation agreement between FEMTEC and Chongqing is very important.
