FEMTEC AT EXPO 2015 - Hydration & Health, the hidden linkA FEMTEC CONSENSUS DOCUMENT WITH TECHICAL SUPPORT OF WHO

FEMTEC (World Federation of Hydrotherapy) gathered in Milan-Expo2015 the authors of the Hydration Consensus Document, organising an international round table with representatives of WHO. The aim, relying on these scientific basis, is to launch a clear message: the improper hydration is deeply linked to many adverse health effects, and proper hydration should be a priority as proper nutrition. Therefore the public Organisations have to stress the role of hydration for an healthy lifestyle.

Official opening of the FEMTEC
International Research Centre at RMAT
Professor Evgenij Nikolaevic Trofimov, Rector of the Internation Russian Academy of Tourism and Phd in Political Sciences, and professor Umberto Solimene, president of FEMTEC, open officially the RMAT-FEMTEC International Research Centre on March 20, 2015. The center was created upon initiative of the private higher professional training institute RMAT (International Russian Academy for Tourism) and FEMTEC).

WHO confirms accreditation of and joint activities with FEMTEC for the 2015-2018 period
The decision was notified to professor Umberto Solimene, President of FEMTEC, based on the Executive Boards resolution that followed a positive evaluation of the actions implemented within the framework of the WHO strategies.
This reaccreditation round saw the application of even stricter criteria, which resulted into the exclusion of more than one third of operating non-governmental associations. See more HERE

Balneological Congress of Polish Association of Balneology and Physical Medicine
will be held in Polanczyk (10-13th Sep 2015) with participation of international guests. We anticipate 2 sessions in English about the most important scientific attainments of balneology and thermal medicine in different countries on the world.
Subjects of other sessions (lectures and posters) are advancements in balneology, physical therapy, balneochemistry, climatology, thermal geology. We also anticipate special session about management in thermal institutions.Read more HERE

Thermae marketing and communication must be modern, attractive and effective. Therefore each thermal facility should exploit the New Media with a Web 2.0 approach and with focus on the economic return of these investments.

A TV format about thermalism
A TV format has been proposed to address the sector of hydrotherapy, thermae and health SPA's: Femtec members are invited to promote similar initiatives in their countries and to exchange their video contents. The R&D FEMTEC Centre is starting in Weihay, China
Shandong Region will host the first international Centre for Research on Integrated Thermal Medicine promoted by FEMTEC
and sponsored by the Chinese Holding Shengtai Group
, in co-operation with the Shandong Film and TV Group.
A 700-ha surface will host to a thermal city, with luxury hotels, hydrotherapy and tourist centres, sport infrastructures, as well as TV and film production centres. It will provide scientific and cultural support to the rational use of thermal resources in China.

The old Joomla system was too difficult to manage, while the new one is very easy to use.
