The FEMTEC Garden
For a few years FEMTEC has pursued the tradition of planting a tree in the locations that host its congresses, annual meetings or important international events. The tree is a symbol of participation to thanks to the Community of Specialists of the host Country.
The tree species is selected according to the climate and environment of the location. For example: a Fir tree (Armenia), a Pomegranate (Italy), a Magnolia (Georgia), a Palm tree (Cuba), etc.
With its trunk, branches, leaves, fruits and roots, the tree is a symbol for life and health. It comes to life, grows, reproduces and ages, often very slowly. The tree embodies Beauty, Life and Health.
The tree is also a symbol of inheritance! A family tree describes the succession of generations and the transmission of hereditary traits (see In Memoriam in the menu).
